Meche's story
Meche is an older brood mare who has spent her whole life carrying foals for someone else, in the worst conditions. Jennifer met her about three years ago while volunteering nearby and never stopped thinking about her. The man who owns her knows Jennifer wants her and keeps raising the price, so we are raising the money to buy her freedom. The day she comes home she gets love, food, water and a pasture of her own, and nothing is ever asked of her again.
