What Granlee Ranch does
We buy horses out of bad situations, bring them to our pasture in Midlothian, Texas, and keep them for life. Nothing is ever asked of them again.
There is no riding programme and nothing to sell. Every horse here gets love, food, water and room to be a horse, for as long as they have.
Sponsors are how that stays true. Fifteen dollars a month is hay, vet visits and hoof trims for one horse — and you hear from that horse every month.

That's hay for the month. It comes out on the same day each month, and you can pause or stop whenever you need to.
Get a photo and a note
Every month: one photo of your horse and a few lines from whoever fed them that morning.
Bring Meche home
Meche is an older brood mare who has spent her whole life carrying foals for someone else, in the worst conditions. Jennifer met her about three years ago while volunteering nearby and never stopped thinking about her. The man who owns her knows Jennifer wants her and keeps raising the price, so we are raising the money to buy her freedom.
What sponsoring costs
Most people start at $15 a month. Every tier pays for the same things — hay, vet visits, hoof trims. What changes is how much of the horse's life comes back to you.

For the horse: Hay, farrier and routine vet care.
For you: Everything in Caretaker. Your name on the barn wall. A standing invitation to visit.
Barn Builder

or $1,500 a year — about 10 months' price
For the horse: A horse's whole month of care.
For you: Everything in Guardian. A quarterly video call or farm day. First look at every new rescue.

Double a sponsor
A matching donor pledges up to a set amount each month.
Every new monthly sponsorship is matched dollar for dollar out of that pledge until it's used up — so somebody who signs up for $15 a month puts $30 in front of a horse.
